ODTD044 sees the hotly anticipated Øddity return of OIBAF&WALLEN following 2022’s ‘Dream Kingdom’. Since then the Madrid based duo have clocked up further releases on their own label ONISM, to sit alongside music for Eklektisch, Radikon and Running Clouds. Now OIBAF&WALLEN deliver three fresh innovative cuts showcasing the continued development of their big melodic techno sound.

Title track ‘Blue lights’ is a dark deep expensive journey filled with rich visceral synths that immediately capture your imagination. Addictive arp lines work their way inside your mind before we move to a cinematic breakdown. As the bass hits the melodic theme resumes and now takes over, demanding a great club sound system to present all elements to their absolute potential.

‘Revival’ starts with a focused edginess through dynamic percussion, low slung bass and swirling electronics. From here glissando chords add warmth as OIBAF&WALLEN pull out all the stops compositionally to unite and lock the dance-floor into their flow.

Closer ‘We Are The Night Walkers’ sees the duo stretch out artistically making full use of skills gathered qualifying for their production and sound engineering degrees. This classy track highlights OIBAF&WALLEN’s sonic architecture at its best, ensuring each layer has the headroom to shine as well as fitting seamlessly into the complete artistic vision of audio representation.
